Dale Jeffrey Markwood

Dale Jeffrey Markwood Sr., son of the late Horace and Lilliath Markwood was born on March 11, 1937 in Denver, Colorado and departed his life on Monday, September 29, 2025 at his residence in Chaffee, Missouri at the age of 88 years.

He retired from the United States Air Force serving in the Military Intelligence Department. Later in life he focused on Markwood Custom Frames which he was the owner and operator.

In 1974 he was united in marriage to Phyllis Watson. She survivors of the home in Chaffee.

Along with his wife, survivors include two sons, Jeff Markwood and Eric Markwood; two daughters, Joi Olivencia and Keri Markwood; three brothers, Lewis, Calvin and Steven Markwood; two sisters, Cookie Snider and Terri Hansen; by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; also, by other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, Dale was preceded in death by a daughter, Penny Markewood.

Celebration of life service along with full military honors will be conducted at a later date. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapels assisting with arrangements.
