Dana Mark Zimmerman

Mark Zimmerman, son of the late Frank Otis and Eloise (Deweese) Zimmerman was born on August 3,1954 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed this life on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri at the age of 70 years.

He served in the United States Navy from 1978 – 1996 retiring as Chief Warrant Officer II after 20 years of service. Mark was currently residing in Warrenton, Missouri formerly of Scott City, Missouri.

Survivors include two sons, Lucas and Barry Zimmerman, both of St. Peters, Missouri; one daughter, Kimberly Toms of Tampa, Florida; five grandchildren: Riley Zimmerman, Parker Zimmerman, Kaitlin Diotte, Christopher Toms, and Bailey Toms; one brother, John Zimmerman of Wentzville, Missouri; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: James Ray and Kenneth Wayne; and two sisters: Soundra Eifert and Willa Zimmerman.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm and officiated by Jennifer Zimmerman Black. Interment will follow at Lightner Cemetery at Scott City with full military honors.
