Darlene Ella Ziegler Duff

Darlene Ella Ziegler Duff, of Scott City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday July 27, 2026, at the age of 88.

She was born June 25, 1938 in Scott County, Missouri, the daughter of Theodore Charles and Celestia Grace (LeDure) Ziegler. She was united in marriage to George Duff, who preceded her in death.

Darlene is survived by her son, Travis Duff (Suzanne) of Scott City; her son-in-law, Mark Stamp of Mountain View, Arkansas; her grandsons, Nathan Stamp (Jarrett Jordan) of Houston, Texas, and Brent Stamp of Little Rock, Arkansas; her great-granddaughter, Elliott Stamp of Little Rock, Arkansas; three stepdaughters, Donna Standridge of Sikeston, Missouri, Linda Caskey (Andy) of Columbia, Missouri, and Pam Beis (Charles) of Portageville, Missouri; her sister, Vivian Buehrle (Pat) of Ballwin, Missouri; six step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Tammy Stamp; her sisters, Lavana Faye Jacobs (Herman) and Shirley Glastetter (Clarence); her brother, Hugh David Ziegler (Karen Smith); an infant brother, August Joseph Ziegler; and one step son-in-law, Bill Standridge.

She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Parish in Scott City, Missouri, where she previously served as a member of both the Parish Council and the School Board. She was also a member of the Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration ministry of St. Francis Hospital and The Ladies of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality.

Visitation will be held from 4p to 8p on Thursday, July, 30th at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish Prayers will be offered at 6P. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10a on Friday, July, 31st at St. Joseph Church in Scott City and will be officiated by Fr. Tomasz Piotr Wilk. Recitation of The Rosary will be held at 9:30a at the church.

Donations can be made in Darlene’s honor to St. Joseph Parish School or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
