Darriel Williams

Darriel Williams, son of the late Ralph Williams and Mildred Louise (Ledbetter) Williams was born on August 11, 1945 in Dorena, Missouri and departed his life on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 80 years.

Mr. Williams was a former Heavy Equipment Operator for Mike Ivan Jones and Veteran of the United States Army. Darriel enjoyed Fun Fishing (Darriel's way), was an avid Pool Shark (winning beer chips), and loved spending time with Amayah and Stella.

On February 12, 1966 he was united in marriage to Merle Ann Walker in East Prairie, Missouri. Mrs. Williams survives of the home in Commerce.

Along with his wife, other survivors include two sons, Kevin (Tricia) Williams and Dwight (Libby) Buckner; two daughters, Missy Williams and Tracy Smith; grandchildren, Megan Abbott, Ashley, Christopher(Ashley), and Michael (Sidney) Williams, Weston Leroux, Madi (Wade) Lowery, Cailyn Leroux, , Kelsey Buckner, Eric (Julia) Smith, Jr., Taylor (Justin) Jarvis, and Allyson (Dustin) Smith; twenty-one great-grandchildren; by one sister, Connie (Keith) Bennett; also, by other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandchild, Avery Cole Jarvis; two brothers, Bonnie and Don Williams.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 11:00 until 1:00 with the funeral service at 1:00 PM in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Scott City with Rev. Dave Thompson officiating and Tammy Burford assisting.
