Deborah Ann “Debbie” Vetter, age 68, entered into her eternal rest on Friday, July 4, 2025, at her home in Kelso, MO.

Debbie was born to the late Howard and Sylvia Porterfield-McCommack on August 12, 1956, in New Smyrna Beach, FL.

In 1974, Debbie graduated from Scott City High School in Scott City, MO.

Before her retirement, Debbie had worked for the office of Cape Radiology for over 30 years as a radiology administrative assistant.

Deborah or “Debo” as she became known to many, lived a vibrant life. She enjoyed nature, the beach, traveling, her family and her beloved pets over the years, especially her sweet Bella.

Deborah never met a stranger. She had a wonderful sense of humor, loved meeting new people, and made a positive impact on those she knew throughout her life. She always had a smile and welcoming nature for everyone in her presence.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Carrie Lee.

Survivors include one sister, Rebecca Jo McCommack of Weatherford, TX; two nieces: Pamela Amrhein (Eric Don-Jordan) and Sarah and Michael Squier both of Charlotte, NC.

A visitation will held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with Pastor Tommy Miller officiating.

A private inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you make a donation to the charity of your choice.
