Marjorie Brown

Marjorie Brown, daughter of the late George Washington Mabrey and Hazel Mertie Snider was born on October, 27, 1931 in Advance, Missouri and passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020 at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 88 years.

Mrs. Brown was of the Baptist faith and a resident of Whitewater, Missouri.

In 1949 she was united in marriage to Paul Bert Brown in Piggott, Arkansas. Mr. Brown preceded her in death 1990.

Survivors include to three sons, Bradley Lee Brown in Allenville, Missouri, Ronald Gene Brown and Danny Ray Brown both of Whitewater, Missouri; two daughters, Sylvia “Jo” Brown of Whitewater and Hazel Joyce May of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; also, by fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth Paul Brown and Arlen Bert Brown; and by one daughter, Rosalyn Kay Jerls.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 11:00 until 1:00 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee. Funeral services will then be conducted on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Interment will follow at the Barks Chapel in Whitewater.
