Earl Bennett, son of the late Elvin Eugene Bennett and Shirley Bennett was born on April 6, 1964, in Hot Springs, South Dakota and departed his life on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 62 years.

On November 21, 2008 he was united in marriage to Kim Beussink in Jackson, Missouri. Mrs. Bennett survives of the home.

Along with his wife, survivors include three sons, Eric Bennett, Robert Bennett, and Nicholas (Kelli) Essner; by two daughters, Cassie (Lee) Woodward, and Sarah (Philip) Fry; nine grandchildren, Ethyn Bennett, Emma Bennett, Bella Bennett, Peighton Bennett, Alek Jaco, Adelaide Woodward, Roxie Fry, Wrenley Bennett and Jackson Fry; one great-grandchild, Kohen Fowlkes; one brother, Gary Bennett; two sisters, Liana Holt and Laura Dougard; also, by a host of family and friends.

Besides his parents, Earl was preceded in death by a grandson, Riley Bennett.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Interment will follow in the Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, Missouri.
