Elmer Ray Fisher

Elmer Ray Fisher, 80, of Chaffee passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born on Oct. 14, 1938 of Bell City, Missouri to the late Lester and Zada Hester Fisher. He married Donna Faye Mabrey in 1989 and she survives of the home.

Elmer was a retired maintenance supervisor for Chaffee Housing Authority in Chaffee. He was a member of Chaffee General Baptist Church. He served in U.S. Army.

He is also survived by two sons, Trevor Fisher of Houston, Texas; Chad Fisher of Whitewater, Missouri; four step-sons, Randy Buchheit of Chaffee; Rick Black and Chris Black both of Clarkton, Missouri; Terry Stephens of Chaffee; two step-daughters, Sandy McBride of Chaffee and Pam Avery of Bryon, Texas; a brother Bob Fisher of Benton, Missouri; four sisters, Naomi Rion of St. Louis, Missouri; Nancy Williams of Beech Grove, Arkansas; Fay McEney of Virginia; Anna Jean Hale of Harvelle, Missouri; three grandchildren, Hannah Fisher, Victoria Hollis, Sherman Watson and two great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded by a step-daughter and a brother.

Graveside service will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee with Rev. Bob Lewis officiating.
