Everett Lee Holder

Everett Lee Holder, son of the late David Everett “Pee Wee” Holder and Daisy (Dodson) Holder was born on November 10, 1940 in Illmo, Missouri and departed his life on Monday, July 20, 2026 at his residence in Scott City, Missouri at the age of 85 years.

He was the owner and operator of Sportsman’s Barber Shop in Scott City where he continued to cut hair over 53 years until the age of 75 years old. Mr. Holder was a member of the Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City.

On February 15, 1959 he was united in marriage to Mary Lee Krieger in Illmo, Missouri. Mrs. Holder survives of the home in Scott City.

Survivors include two sons, Scott (Sherry) Holder and Terry (Sandy) Holder both of Scott City; nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren; also, by a host of family and friends.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Rick Holder; and by one grandson, Dru William Holder.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 8:30 until 11:00 AM at the Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City. Funeral service will then be conducted at 11:00 AM with Pastor Doug Breite officiating. Interment will follow in the Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City, Missouri.
