Geneva Camp

Geneva Camp, daughter of the late Alfred Breedlove and Lydia (Greener) Breedlove was born on September 4, 1928 in Johnson County, Arkansas and departed her life on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 97 years.

She was a member of the Ilmo Baptist Church where she was baptized on December 12, 1962. Geneva worked at the Ilmo Beanery and a resident of Scott City.

On October 1, 1949 she was united in marriage to Robert Lee Camp, Sr. in Piggott, Arkansas. Mr. Camp preceded her in death on December 26, 2003.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Camp Jr. and Andrew Camp both of Scott City; special nephew, Mike Camp of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Jerry Breedlove of Cadiz, Kentucky; eleven grandchildren; Jody Morgan, Nichole Sykes, Darren Sykes, Robert Lee Camp III, Medina Scirocco, Emily Grace Welch, Amber (Drew) Proffer, Amanda (Micheal) Ridenour; eleven great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; also, by other relatives and friends.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy, Doyle, and Ray Breedlove; and by one sister, Ruby Shrader.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City. Funeral services will then be conducted on Thursday at 2:00PM in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City. Interment will follow in the Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
