Gordon Wells Bradley Sr., age 76, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, at his home in Oran, MO.

He was born on September 2, 1949, to the late Thomas J. and Florence N. Surina-Bradley in Bonne Terre, MO.

On May 12, 1968, he married Patricia Reynolds who survives of the home in Oran.

Gordon was a foreman for Bunny Bread for 20 years, a driver for Howell Trucking for 10 years, and lastly before retiring, he was a driver for Semo Stone for 16 years.

He was a collector of knives of many kinds and camel lighters. His greatest passion was watching his grandchildren play sports.

Gordon was of the Assembly of God faith and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Scott City, MO.

In addition to his loving wife Pat, he is survived by two sons: Gordon Bradley Jr. of Cape Girardeau, MO, and Billy Joe Bradley of Scott City, MO; four sisters: Terry (Paul) Cline, Serena (Kenny) Robinson, Becky Frey, and Janet Roney; one brother, Mark Adams; four grandchildren: Chelsi Bradley, Matt (Megan) Bradley, Kaylee (Keith) Bradley, and Gordon “Gordy” Bradley III; four great grandchildren: Jay, Drake, Asher and Ripley.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, and his three brothers: Tom Bradley, Ross “Corky” Adams, and John Adams, and one grandson B.J. Bradley.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the Amick-Burnett Chapel at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Randy Morse of The First Assembly of God in Scott City officiating.

A private family interment will be held at a later date.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Plaza, Memphis, TN 38105-9959, in Gordon’s memory.
