Helen Christine Jones

Helen Christine Jones, 72, Chaffee passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Sept. 24, 1946 in Chaffee to the late George Dewey and Bonnie Mae Naugle Horman. She married Ben Jones on Nov. 27, 1993 and he preceded her in death on June 8, 1995.

Helen was a homemaker. She was of the Catholic Faith.

She is survived by two sons, Jeff (Marcia) Meuir of Cape Girardeau and Darrin Meuir; a niece who was like a daughter, Ashley (Josh) Dambach of Chaffee; five brothers, Ray Horman of Tom Bean, Texas; Jerry Horman and Delbert Horman both of Chaffee; Delmer Horman of Cape Girardeau; Dennis Horman of St. Louis, Missouri; a sister Ellen “Carleen” Piper of Chaffee; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews

She was also preceded by a nephew, William Michael Kitchen and a niece, Kristy Marie Horman.

Friends may call after 10:00 am until time of service on Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm at the Chapel with Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant. Burial will be at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
