Henry Boyd Gilliland

Henry Boyd Gilliland, son of Miller and Bessie Lee Rodgers Gilliland was born on November 28, 1937 in Morley Township in Missouri and departed this life on October 21, 2019 in Morley, Missouri at the age of 81 years.

He was united in marriage to Donna Jean Irwin on April 10, 2010 and she preceded him in death on September 24, 2018.

Henry served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a former Police Commissioner in Rolla, MO. Worked as an over-the-road truck driver for Lee Way Trucking before retirement.

He is survived by a son Jim Gilliland of Colorado; three daughters, Linda Bates of Nebraska; Vickie Stewart of Arkansas and Billie Saari of Nebraska; four brothers and four sisters; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a son, David Gilliland and two sisters

Visitation will be Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Morley Baptist Church in Morley, Missouri. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Dave Thompson officiating.
