Ira "Lee" Sadler

Ira “Lee” Sadler, 83, of Chaffee, Missouri passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025 at his home surrounded by family. Lee was born January 1, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to Ira and Edna Sadler.

He and Ruth Ann Baert were married on Oct. 16, 1961 in Chaffee.

Lee was employed 44 years by Spartech in Cape Girardeau. He was an avid bowler, hunter and enjoyed going to the casino and also loved to travel.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years; a daughter, Sherri Sadler and son, Roger Lee Sadler both of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Kenneth, Donald and Jackie; five sisters, Anna Nanny, Betty Ebenstien, Wilma Sadler, Janet Totty, and Irene Steger.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Private burial will take place at Union Park Cemetery, Chaffee.
