Jackie Jackson

Jackie Jackson, son of the late Walter Jackson and Lorene (Stroder) Jackson was born on January 21, 1938 in Laughlin, Missouri and departed his life on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Hubble Creek Nursing Facility in Jackson, Missouri at the age of 88 years.

Mr. Jackson was a former employee of Labor Union #101 and was elected Delta Municipal Court Judge for several years. He was a member of the Delta Fire Department and Deacon at Randles General Baptist Church.

He was first united in marriage to Betty Hefner. Mrs. Hefner preceded him in death. He later married Sherri Meyer and she also preceded him in death.

Survivors include one son Walter “Wally” (Gloria) Jackson of Marble Hill; two daughters, Darlene (Ronald) McCubbin of Leopold and Jennifer McBride of Delta; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents and wife's parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Stacie Boyer; two brothers, Roy and Gene Jackson; one sister Paulene Tonsor.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Leeman Shirrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Morgan Memorial Park Cemetery.
