Jean Rehak

Jean Ann Rehak, age 84, passed away at her son’s home in Cape Girardeau, MO on Friday, March 27, 2026.

She was born on December 23, 1941 in Scott City, MO to the late William Earl and Allene Metheny.

Jean married Orville “Jack” Rehak on August 4, 1960 in Virgina. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2024.

Jean was a longtime member of the Oak Ridge FCE (homemakers) Club. She served as president of the local club and treasurer of the state club.

She is survived by her two sons: Edward William (Stephanie) Rehak of San Francisco, CA, and William Eugene (Amanda Greenhill) Rehak of Cape Girardeau, MO; one daughter, Frances Alicia (Robert) Jenkins of Oak Ridge, MO; one brother, William Metheny of Charles City, IA; two grandchildren: William Jenkins and Leah Greenhill Rehak.

In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Metheny.
