In Loving Memory of Joseph Lee Parks

Joseph Lee Parks, age 54, of Delta, passed away on October 25, surrounded by love.

Born on February 15, 1972, to Jim and Inah Parks, Joseph lived a life filled with love and devotion to his family.

Known as Jay, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His family was his greatest joy. He will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and generous spirit.

Jay loved farming and fishing. He took pride in working the land, enjoying the outdoors, and creating lasting memories with his family.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Missi Parks; his mother, Inah Parks; his daughter, Macey (Cory) Cooper; his son, Dakota (Taylor) Parks; his four grandchildren, Ellie, Colt, Crue, and Cohen; and his siblings, Robin (Don) Cato and Troy (Robin) Parks. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Parks.

His love and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 from 10:00 until 12:00 noon at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral services will then be conducted on Wednesday at 12:00 noon with Rev. Randy Conn officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
