Joyce Verronn Roth

Joyce Roth, daughter of the late Vernon Sander and Ruth Hale was born on April 26, 1949 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed her life on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at her residence in Scott City, Missouri at the age of 76 years.

She was a former Real Estate Agent in the Cape Girardeau area and housekeeper. Mrs. Roth was also the co-owner of Roth Hardware in Scott City for fifteen years. Joyce was a faithful member of The Rock of Cape Church.

On July 1, 1967 she was united in marriage to Ralph Roth at Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City, Missouri. Mr. Roth preceded her in death on July 30, 2023.

Survivors include three sons, Scott (Michelle) Roth of Jackson, Missouri, Greg (Nancy) Roth; and Austin Roth all of Scott City, Missouri; one daughter, Angela (Charles) Bond of Scott City; five grandchildren, Sierra G. Roth, Michael T. Roth, Destin W. Roth, Bethany Jung, and Kaitlynn Roth; one great-grandson, Grayson Vaughn Knox; one brother, Richard Hale of Texas; two sisters, Ginnell Hackler of Illinois and Virginia Gale Ashworth of Scott City; also; by other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother Roy David Hale.

There will be a private family celebration of life at a later date. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel assisting with arrangements.
