Judy L. Crain

Judy Crain, daughter to the late Melvin and Viola Sylvia Lusk Surface was born on July 14, 1947 in Delta, Missouri and departed her life on September 17, 2025 at Mercy Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 78 years.

She married George Crain and he preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 2020. Judy formally worked for Florsheim Shoe Factory in Cape Girardeau.

She is survived by her son, Timothy “Scott” Surface of Delta; two brothers, Melvin Surface, Jr. and Marvin Surface; three sisters, Joyce Metcalf, Linda Wells and Nancy McIntire; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Kenyon Cemetery, Delta, Missouri with Wayne Kinder as officiant.
