Kenneth R. Glasser

Kenneth Glasser, son of the late Wilfred Glasser and Mary (Elfrink) Glasser was born on April 24, 1952 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed his life on Friday, July 17, 2026 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 74 years.

Kenny was a former employee of Beggs Orchid and owner and operator of a lawncare service. He was a member of the Scott City First Baptist Church in Scott City and a resident of Scott City.

He was united in marriage to Teresa L. Butler. Mrs. Glasser preceded him in death on November 2, 2021.

Survivors include three daughters, Marci (Elvin) Stone of Missouri, Misty (Gary) Dempsy of Georgie, and Krystal Anderson of Missouri; two brothers, Willie and Stephen Glasser; seven sisters, Patricia Glasser, Rose Ali, Dorothy Lett, Mildred McCormick, Cathy Glasser, Mary Pugh, and Susan Glasser; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one son, David Glasser.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Scott City First Family and Youth Worship Center. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 1:00 PM with Rev. Donnie Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Lightner Memorial Park Cemetery in Scott City.
