Linda Fisher

Linda Fisher, daughter of Clifford Louis Mayabb and Edna Virginia (Kepner) Mayabb was born on April 10, 1944 in Cairo, Illinois and passed away to her heavenly home on Friday, November 14, 2025 at the age of 81 years.

She was a former employee of American Greeting Cards and enjoyed being a homemaker the majority of her life. Ms. Fisher was of the Christian faith and enjoyed reading the Bible and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include one daughter, Cheri Fisher of Scott City; two sons, Vincent Fisher of Scott City and John Fisher; three grandchildren, Aeriel (Mayank) Sood, Nicholas (Rachel) Fisher, and Elizabeth Fisher; four great-grandchildren, Aaru Sood, Ambellina Sood, Emery Fisher, and Wyatt Fisher; three sisters, Judy Sharp, Marilyn Schildt, and Peggy Kelley; also, by numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Paul Fisher; and by six brothers.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 11:30 until 1:00 PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Mount Zion Cemetery in Thebes, Illinois with Pastor Kenny Strong officiating.
