Marceline "Marcie" Fuller

Marcie Penrose-Fuller, daughter of the late Atlas Hatley and Tura (Phelps) Hatley was born on October 12, 1928 in Maynard, Arkansas and departed her life on Monday, March 16, 2026 at her residence in Chaffee, Missouri at the age of 97 years.

She was a graduate of Morley High School in 1946 and was a member of the General Baptist Church in Chaffee, Missouri. Marcie was a cashier for several local department stores in Scott County.

On May 17, 1946 she was first united in marriage to Ralph Penrose. Mr. Penrose preceded her in death on May 26, 1994. She later married Jesse “Buster” Fuller on March 12, 2004. He passed away on October 17, 2014.

She was a devoted mother to four children, Linda Lindy, Daniel (Yanthi) Penrose, Vicki (Don) Windham, and Alan Penrose; two step-children, Randy (Pam) Fuller and John (Kim) Fuller; proud grandmother to nine grandchildren, David Richardson, Brad Richardson, Casey Lindy, Eric Windham, Ryan Windham, Robert Penrose, Maggie Penrose, Adrianna Penrose, and Riley Penrose; blessed with nine great-grandchildren, Garret, Christen, Kristen, Ethan, Phoebe, Beckett, Camden, Hayes, and Noah; along with one great-great-grandchild, Krue.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by eight siblings and by one grandchild, Robert Penrose.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 11:00 until 1:00 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral services will then begin at 1:00 PM with Rev. Bob Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Garden Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.
