Margie L. Lee

Margie Lee, daughter of the late William “Dink” Miller and Alma (Liley) Miller was born on March 17, 1938 in Bessville, Missouri and departed her life on Friday, August 21, 2026 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 88 years.

She was a former employee over 50 years at Thorngate and later in her career she enjoyed her time working at Sam’s Club in Cape Girardeau.

On August 14, 1956 she was united in marriage to Charles “Sonny” Lee. Sonny preceded her in death on February 25, 2013.

Survivors include one son, Mike (Carla) Lee of Chaffee; two daughters, Cathy (Steve) Graham of Chaffee and Sandy (Jerry) Bogle of Jackson; six grandchildren, Jill (Steven) Wessel, Ashley (Justin) Friga, Ashton (Jeff) Willnow, Tyler (Abby Cook) Graham, Michael Lee, and Luke Bogle; by seven great-grandchildren, Jayden, Lilly, Zeke, Kage, Cale, Isaac, and Kambry; also, by a host of family and friends.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Miller and Carl “Bunk” Miller; by four sisters, Alta Eaker, Mandy Stone, Lola Thomason, and Zola Kirkpatrick.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 10:00 until 12:00 noon at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral service will then be conducted at 12:00 noon with Rev. Bob Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
