Mary Miller

Mary Darlene Miller, daughter of the late Weldon Charles Miller and Nellie Mae (Glueck) Miller was born on August 18, 1953 in cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed her life on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 72 years.

She was a former school teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School in Scott City and later in her career in the St. Peters, Missouri area. Mary was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and a former resident of Scott City. She will be missed greatly by her dog rafi.

Survivors include three brothers, Maurice Miller and Mike Miller both of Scott City and Jimmy Miller of Sikeston.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bob Miller, Charles “Chuck” Miller and Donnie Miller.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 from 9:00 until 10:30 AM with holy prayers beginning at 10:30 and funeral mass at 11:00 AM with Rev. Thomas Wilk officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Scott City. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapels assisting with arrangements.
