Michael James Armitage

Michael J. Armitage, 30, of Chaffee passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Southeast Missouri Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on July 5, 1988 in Rome, New York to James Armitage and Hope Wills.

Michael graduated from Chaffee High School where he played football. He was of the Christian faith. He dearly loved and cherished his daughter along with family and friends. He will be truly missed and forever loved by all that knew him.

He is survived by his significant other, April Whitworth and their daughter, Mylah Armitage of Chaffee; his father and step-mother, James (Debra) Armitage of Chaffee; mother, Hope Wills of Verona, New York; two brothers, Dru Armitage of Chaffee and Joshua (Jody) Armitage of Verona, New York; he is also survived by a niece, Maddy Armitage.

He was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Family and friends will be notified of a Memorial Service at a later date.
