Michael Sadler

Michael Louis Sadler, son of Herman Sadler and Donna (Kirn) Sadler of Chaffee, Missouri was born on December 30, 1975 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed his life on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau at the age of 50 years.

He was a farmer at Tierney Farms for several years before his employment as a mechanic with Keifer’s Service Station. Later in his career he worked as a mechanic at Cape Girardeau Country Club. Michael was a member of Knights of Columbus #4311 in Oran and Fraternal Organization of Elks #1810 in Chaffee. Michael enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting with his family and friends. He loved spending time with his family, especially with his children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

On July 6, 1996 he was united in marriage to Angela Hester in Chaffee.

Along with his parents and wife, survivors include two daughters, Anna (August) Knutson of Chaffee and Brooklyn (Luke Sievers) Sadler of Oakridge; one son, Garrett (Mindy) Sadler of Chaffee; paternal grandmother, Gladys Maureen Sadler of Kelso; two brothers, Jason (Nicole) Sadler of Columbia and Marc Sadler of Chaffee; one granddaughter, Parker Jane Knutson with two grandchildren on the way; also, by many nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Luella Kirn and Edward “Cotton” Sadler.

Visitation will be conducted on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee from 4:00 until 8:00 PM with a Knights of Columbus service at 4:00 and Elk’s presentation to follow. Eucharist Celebration will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with Rev. Joseph Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery.
