Perry B. Moore

Perry B. Moore, Jr son of the late Perry B Moore. Sr, and Dilia Mae (Johnson) Moore was born on August 10, 1 939, in McHenry Kentucky and departed this life on June 25, 2026, at the age of 86.

Perry was a United States Marine Corps veteran. In 1980, he relocated to Dexter to serve as a regional manager for Crescent Parts and Equipment of St. Louis. Within five years, he successfully helped establish additional branches in Poplar Bluff and Cape Girardeau. Perry later joined Jim Bollinger and Son, where he worked as a refrigeration salesman. Perry had a true passion for refrigeration. He took pride in his work, but beyond his career, Perry will be remembered most for his sense of humor and the way he brought joy to those around him. He loved telling jokes, making people laugh, and never passed up a chance to enjoy a good time. Whether it was sitting down at the Mexican restaurant or catching up with friends at a local bar, Perry cherished those moments. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Perry was a member of Scottish Rite Freemasons, Shriners, and the Masonic Lodge,

(Bernie MO Lodge) and he had just recently received his 50-year pin for being a member.

Perry was united in marriage to Helen Beryerbach in September 9, 1974, in Alton, Illinois. Helen preceded him in death on October 23, 2003.

He is survived by his son, Michael Moore; his daughters, Savanah Sherwood Mote and Sandra Moore Renfrow (Leonard); his brother, Ernest Moore; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a very special friend, Braden Bollinger.

Other than his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Clarence Moore, and sister Laura Lee Moore - Brenner.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
