Phillip Ray Eastwood, 89, Chaffee passed away Monday, May 06, 2019 at his family home.
He was born on June 27, 1929 in Chaffee to the late William and Ora Grant Eastwood. He married Margie Fern Souders on May 19, 1949 and she survives of the home.
Phillip worked for over 42 years with Frisco & Burlington Northern Railroad Company before retiring in 1989. Phillip was a member of Sikeston Eagles Club, Chaffee American Legion Club and a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He served in U. S. Air Force.
He is also survived by two daughters, Debra (Jim) Grebing of Kennett, Missouri and Stephanie (William) Bennett Jr. of Chaffee; three grandchildren, Veronica Bennett of Cape Girardeau; Brittney (Shawn) Powderly of Chaffee and Jarrod (Melissa) Grebing of Takoma Park, Maryland; two great-grandchildren, Bennett and Piper Powderly and one great-grandchild on the way.
He was also preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
Phillip was a man with many interests. During his very full life, he flew planes, crossed the country on his motorcycle, participated in ballroom dancing competitions, enjoyed both water skiing and snow skiing and handcrafted furniture and toys for family and friends.
