Ralph Von Doersten, Jr.

Ralph Edward Von Doersten, Jr., 88 of Commerce, Missouri died Saturday, February 29,2020 at his home. He was born April 26, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri to Ralph Edward and Hedwig Kaiser Von Doersten, Sr. He married Henry Anne Clardy and she preceded him in death in 2009.

He was a computer system analyst for the Federal Government. He attended St. Paul United Methodist Church in Commerce. He was an alumnus of Washington University and was a member of the Experiences Men’s Club.

He is survived by a daughter, Susan (Bill) Bailey of Commerce and four grandchildren, Nicole, Brian, Cody and Cory Bailey.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Chuck Von Doersten.

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 10:45 am on Thursday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday at Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce with Rev. Michael Woods officiating.
