Rebecca Jones

Rebecca Lee Jones, daughter of the late Pete Sturm and Mary (Minner) Crigger was born on December 12, 1968 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed her life on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri at the age 56 years.

Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a resident of Sikeston, Missouri.

Survivors include two sons, Danny (Emily) Shy III of Bloomfield, Missouri and Brandon McKelvey of Washington; one brother, Travis Sturm of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Lorie (Leonard) Copen and Heidi (Justin) Riegert all of Scott City, Missouri; nine grandchildren; also, by several nieces and nephew.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Alana Shy; by one brother, Pete Sturm Jr.

Celebration of life service will be conducted on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Interment will follow at a later date. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapels assisting with arrangements.
