Rita Jane Sturm

Rita Jane Sturm, age 80, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau, MO.

On March 9, 1946 she was born to the late William T. and Doris Magee-Mercer in Nashville, TN.

She Married Richard Sturm on February 4, 1984 in Scott City, MO and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2012.

Rita retired from Cape LaCroix Nursing Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Survivors include her son, Terry Bollinger of Cape Girardeau, MO; her daughter Rosa Green from Advance, MO; three grand children: Stephanie White, Richard White and Nadia Bollinger; one great grand child, Aspen White.
