Ronald Lee Diebold, Sr.
Ronald Lee Diebold, Sr., 67 of Oran, Missouri passed away after a long battle with cancer, on March 26, 2026. He was sent off with love at his home by a large group of family.
Ronnie was born on July 20, 1958 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Jerome and Marilyn (LeGrand) Dielbold, of Oran.
He was a 1976 graduate of Oran high School. After graduation he and his dad, Jerome, started Diebold’s Service Station, which has been in business 50 years.
Ronnie married his high school sweetheart, Sandra Lee St. Cin, on September 8, 1979 at Guardian Angel Church in Oran. They shared 47 years together. Mrs. Diebold survives of the home in Oran.
Aside from his high school sweetheart, Ronnie loved and cherished the 1970 Chevy Pickup that once belonged to his dad. Many people were witnesses to the infamous burnouts that were the cause of many new tires. Ronnie also had a love of barbequing. He mastered the art of grilling and was well known for his BBQ chicken. He loved to have fun and emitted that feeling to everyone around him. He had a way of consuming the dance floor with his classic moves of deep knee bends and floor slapping the word Prominade could always be heard above all the music.
Along with his wife, survivors include two sons, Ronnie Lee (Mia) Diebold, Jr. of Oran and Joshua Lee (Carmen) Diebold of Gordonville; grandchildren, Parker, Cole, Tate, and Landree Diebold; sisters, Karen Diebold, Tami (Kent) Rendleman, and Lori (Greg) Todt all of Oran; sisters-in-law, Sherry (Tom) Seyer and Kim St. Cin all of Oran; brother-in-law, Don St. Cin of Canalou; also, by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Leon and Marcella Diebold, Zeno and Weldon LeGrand; father and mother-in-law, Phillip and Georgia St. Cin; and brother-in law, Bob St. Cin.
Friends may call Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran with Parish prayers at 5:00 with Knights of Columbus service to follow. Funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Guardian Angel Church in Oran with Reverend Joseph Kelly officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Morley, Missouri.
