Ronald H. Irwin

Ronald H. Irwin, age 82, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau, MO.

He was born in Perkins, MO on March 3, 1943 to the late William Hany and Dana Hope Howard Irwin.

On September 5, 1962 in Perkins, MO he married Betty Sue Sissum, who preceded him in death on November 9, 2005.

Ronald was a veteran of the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany along with his wife. He then was part of the banking community, mainly as a branch manager in the Festus and Crystal City areas.

He is survived by a son, Keith (Candy) Irwin of Cape Girardeau, MO; a brother, Terry (Donna) Irwin of Gordonville, MO; two sisters, Sharon Friedrich of Perkins, MO and Vicki (John) Rieck of Gladston, KS; three grandchildren, Jared (Kijsa), Elizabeth and Allison; and one great grandchild, August.

A celebration of Ronald’s life will be held on November 7, 2025 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.

A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.

Ronald was a regular blood and plasma donor.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to donate, cash or blood, to your local Red Cross Center in his honor.
