Ruth Ann Slinkard

Ruth Ann Slinkard, daughter of the late Bill Slinkard and Peggy (Harmon) Slinkard was born on January 24, 1953 in Chaffee, Missouri and departed her life on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 73 years.

Ms. Slinkard was a former employee of Proctor and Gamble for several years and a resident of Chaffee.

Survivors include two sons, Danny (Dee) Kennedy of Ironton, Missouri and Jeffery (Patricia) Kennedy of Advance, Missouri; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; also, by a host of relatives and friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Slinkard; two sisters, Dixie Slinkard and Mary Hamilton.

Celebration of life service will be conducted later. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapels assisting with arrangements.
