Sharon Sue Ayers

Sharon Ayers, daughter of the late Ollie Schrum and Irene Sadler Schrum was born on March 25 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at her residence in Chaffee, Missouri at the age of 64.

Mrs. Ayers was a housewife and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

On March 29, 1974 she was united in marriage to Jerry Lee Ayers in Chaffee, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 4, 2017.

Survivors include one son, Daniel (Lori Cowell) Ayers of Chaffee; three daughters, Michelle (Jerry) Laxton of Scott City, Kim Harper (Tyler Dannenmueller) of Chaffee, and Ja’net (Randy) Sadler of Chaffee; by two step-sons, Michael (Colleen) Ayers and David (Susan) Ayers all of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Bobby Schrum and Kenny Schrum both of Chaffee; one sister, Tammy Schrum of Piedmont, Missouri; by seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; also by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00P.M. Thursday, October, 22, 2020 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral services will then be conducted on Thursday evening at 7:00P.M. with Rev. Jim Smiley officiating.
