Stephen Ray Kerby

Stephen Ray Kerby, son of the late Otto “Joe” Kerby and Jewel (Hodgkiss) Kerby was born on July 29, 1953 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed his life on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at his residence in Benton, Missouri at the age of 72 years.

He was a former employee on the River Boat and Napa Auto Parts in Cape for several years. Stephen was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one son, Andrew (Madison) Kerby of Oran; one daughter, Bonnie (Jay) Lowes of Scott City; one sister, Nita (Ron) Felty of Chaffee; one brother, Joe (Becky) Kerby of Paragould, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Lexie (Wes) Langston, Saylor Kerby, Teagan King and Kase King; three great-grandchildren, Lakelyn, Adley, and Weston Langston; two nieces, Cori Chaney, Sara Chaney; two nephews, Joseph Kerby and Scott Kerby; also, by a host of cousins, family, and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapels assisting with arrangements.
