Steven Richard Martin, 68 of Scott City died Friday, February 14, 2020 at his home.   He was born September 2, 1951 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to William and Beulah Held Martin. He married Patricia Ann Ritzenthaler on May 4, 1973.

He was a truck driver and he was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two sons, Steven Martin, Jr of Indianapolis, Indiana and Wayne Martin of Scott City; three brothers, William Martin, Jr of Kennewick, Washington, David Martin of Cape Girardeau and Raymond Martin of Benton, Missouri; six sisters, Carla Gordon of Scott City, Vicky Brown and Darlene Tallman of Benton, Wanda Gordon of McClure, Illinois, Lillian Williams of Bend, Oregon and Kimberly Damron of Fort Wayne, Indiana and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

Visitation will be at 11:00 am – 12:00 pm on Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Graveside service with full military honors will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Bloomfield with Rev. Callum Reavey officiating.
