Trevor Coomer

Trevor Coomer, son of Rhonda (Wagoner) Freeman and the late Wesley Alan Coomer was born on July 13, 1989 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed his life on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 35 years.

Trevor grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia and attended Golf School Academy in Myrtle Beach, South Caolina. He had a great love for the game of Golf and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Trevor was employed at Verdesian Life Science in Scott City as an Operator until his illness consumed him. He was consumed with watching sports of ESPN and listening to Jake Paul podcast.

Along with his mother, Rhonda Freeman, survivors include, step-father, Jon Freeman; fiancé, Kacie Friese her children, Emmit, Braxton, Haven, and Hope which he loved unconditional; maternal grandmother, Wanda McAlister Vogel; aunt, Pam Hanback; cousins, Travis (Shannon) Hanback and Chris (Chelsy) Hanback; several uncles and aunts, Carmen (Jeannie) Coomer, Dallas Coomer, Dennis (Brenda) Coomer, Robert (Linda) Coomer, Russell (Evelyn) Coomer, Karen Penrod, Maryln Ostendorf, Estelle Wolfe, Kai, Leyton, Rason, Abbigal, LaRissa, and Alexis.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Trenton Coomer; uncle, Larry Hanback; and grandparents, Alma and Rufus Coomer.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30, 2024 from noon until 2:00PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral services will then be conducted at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tommy Miller and Rev. Teresa Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
