Troy Gene Martin

Troy Gene Martin, son of the late Charles Edward Martin and Josephine (Winchester) Martin was born March, 30, 1956 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed his life on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 70 years.

He was former employee of Alliance Water Resources in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Troy enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. He loved spending time with family and friends and was a resident of Scott City, Missouri.

On October 28, 1989 he was united in marriage to Christina Clipper in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Mrs. Martin survives of the home in Scott City.

Along with his wife, survivors include two sons, Dustin (Cherish) Martin and Wyatt (Jordan) Martin both of Jackson, Missouri; by two brothers, Frank (Pam) Martin of Delta and Chuck (Karen) Martin of Fruitland, Missouri; one sister, Vicki (Daniel) Buttry of Gholson, Texas; by five grandchildren with one on the way; also, by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and additional family.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Martin.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 from 3:00 until 6:00PM at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral services will then be conducted at 6:00 PM with Rev. Phil Thompson officiating.
