Tyson Joseph Evans

Tyson Joseph Evans, son of Barry Evans of Anna, Illinois and Laura Diebold Evans of Scott City, Missouri was born on September 17, 2004 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed his life on Friday, October 31, 2025 at the age of 21 years.

Tyson was a 2023 graduate and played football at Kelly High School. He was a United States Veteran of the Army National Guard HHC, 1140th Engineer Battalion and was deployed to Kuwait 2024-25. He was an employee of Buzzi Unicem USA and a resident of Altenburg, Missouri. Tyson enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his buddies, his dog Koda, and working on his project truck with his grandpa. This year he was excited to go dirt track racing with his dad.

Survivors include his mother, Laura Evans (fiancée Mark Priest); father and step-mother, Barry (Nicole) Evans; sister, Taylor Evans; parental grandparents, Ron and Darlene Oller; maternal grandparents, Joe and Barb Diebold; step-brother, Mason (Libby) Watkins; step-sister, Ava Rosenthal; nephew, Crue Watkins; uncles and aunts, Ryan Oller, Robyn Oller, Jordan Dirnberger, Rylan Dirnberger, Hadley Dirnberger, Jody Diebold, Eve Diebold, Susan (Ben) Bohnert, Ellie Bohnert, and Henry Bohnert; also, by other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City. Rosary prays will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 9:30 AM with Funeral mass conducted at 10:00 AM in St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Missouri with Rev. Tom Wilk officiating.
