Vidal Sauceda Jr., 81, of Cape Girardeau, formally of Oran passed away Thursday, January 18, 2019 at Barns-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born on February 28, 1937 in Nixon, Texas to the late Vidal Sr. and Susie Valdez Sauceda.

Vidal was a retired farmer. He was a member of Apostolic Church of Oran. He loved to listen to music go fishing and watch westerns.

He is survived by two sons, Chris Murray of Cape Girardeau; Ronnie Sauceda of Morley, Missouri; a daughter, Patty Cope of Benton, Missouri; two brothers, John Sauceda and Tommy Romas both of Oran; six sisters, Sandra Turner of Oran; Josie Turner of Morley; Dora Graham of Sikeston, Missouri; Mary Brown of Olive Branch, Mississippi; Betty Guzman of Morley; Lupe Freeze of Olive branch, Mississippi; 14 grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two sons, Andy and Brian Sauceda; five brother and two sisters.

Friends may call after 1:00 pm on Friday, January 25, until time of service at the Apostolic Church of Oran.

Memorial Service will be at 5:30 pm on Friday at the Church with Rev. Brian Flanigan officiating.
