Virginia Ann Norris

Virginia Norris, daughter of William Busby Sr. of Kentucky and Mary Ellen Smith of Cape Girardeau, Missouri was born April 25,1979 in Cairo, Illinois and departed her life on Sunday October 18,2026 at her residence in Chaffee at the age of 47 years.

On January 20,1995 Virginia and Henry Norris exchanged vows. They were married for 30 years. During those 30 years as Henry’s co-pilot, she learned to live life fearlessly. Their love story will live on for generations. Henry preceded Virginia in death on July 12,2023

Virginia was a loving wife and caretaker to her husband of 30 years, an amazing mother, and she loved her grandchildren deeply. Virginia took pride into being the best Mimi to her seven grandchildren. To her they were her and Henry’s legacy. Virginia was a loving friend to many.

Along with her parents, survivors include her two daughters Rebecca Sanchez (Reno) of Benton Missouri, and Cierra Harvell ( Jacob) of Perryville, Missouri; one son Henry Norris Jr. (Casey) of Wappapello, Missouri; seven grandchildren Charlotte “Monkey Butt” Sanchez, Violet “Violent Violet” Sanchez, Reno “RJ” Sanchez, Athena “Isaly” Harvell, Ember Le’Ann Norris, Clayton “Booga” Norris, Addilynn “MaeMae” Norris; two brothers Keith Cooper and Troy Busby both of Kentucky; two sisters Sarah Garrett of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Jessica Taylor Busby of Paducah, Kentucky.

Celebration of Life service will be held on November 20th,2026 at Unity Baptist Church in Benton. Visitation from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with the celebration service at 1:00 PM.
