Wesley Franklin Daniels, son of the late John Thomas Daniels and Birtha (Miller) Daniels was born on April 13, 1938 in Painton, Missouri and departed his life on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at his home in Oran, Missouri at the age of 88 years.
Mr. Daniels was a former factory worker and famer in the Scott County area. Later in his career he worked along side his son’s doing carpentering work.
On April 26, 1958 he was united in marriage to Wanette Abner in Scott County. Mrs. Daniels preceded him in death on August 30, 2019.
Survivors include one son, Tim Daniels of Oran; one daughter, Tammie (Sam Stidham) Daniels of Oran; eight grandchildren, Joe Daniels, Jon Daniels, Kara Reich, Holden Daniels, Chance Daniels, Stephaine Tollison, Kathleen Mansker, and Allen Mansker; eight great-grandchildren, Payton Daniels, Keaton Daniels, Dalton Daniels, Macy Parmer, Paul Parmer, Grey Mansker, Asher Mansker, and Jude Daniels; two great-great-grandchildren, Haleigh Greer and Walker Greer; two brothers, Terry and Robert Daniels; three sisters, Catherine Daniels, Shirley Pirtle, and Birtha Griswell; also, by a host of relatives and friends.
Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Paul Daniels; one daughter, Susan Mansker; five brothers, Wilburn, John Thomas, Sherman, Luther, and J.R. Daniels; three sisters, Helen Cato, Alice Saucedo, and Effie Dodd; one grandson, Justin Daniels; and one great-granddaughter, Annebelle.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Gary Teague officiating. Interment will follow in the Friends Cemetery in Oran, Missouri.
