William Leon Johnson

William Leon Johnson, son of the late Lloyd Thomas Johnson and Jaunita (Gorden) Johnson was born on June 17, 1952 in Cole County, Missouri and departed his life on August 3, 2026 at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 74 years.

Mr. Johnson was a self-entrepreneur handyman coving the southeast Missouri region. William enjoyed having a beer and socializing with family and friends.

He was united in marriage to Debbie Phillis McCoy. Mrs. Johnson preceded him death.

Survivors include three sons, William Johnson, Bill Johnson, and Freddy (Amber) Johnson; two daughters, Destiny (Patrick) Barber and Michelle Nater; thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren on the way; one brother, Lloyd Thomas Johnson; three sisters, Elizabeth Ann Johnson, Becky Johnson, and Wendy Johnson; also, by a host of family and friends.

Along with his wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Wayne Johnson and by one sister, Kathy Sue Johnson.

Visitation will be held with a social gathering on Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
